Just a little about myself

My name is Mark and I was born in England, I'm currently living in Thailand. My hobbies are computers and I like to do a little programming now and then. I really enjoy Linux and over the last 5 years I have tried out many many distros. From Red hat, suse, Debian, Mandrake, Vector, Zenwalk, tle, slackware, lindows, and a few others which I've forgotten. Iam also the author of the Thai bar guide, which is a Thai & English language guide for chatting up Thai bar girls in their own tongue. The book has also been published in German too! I hope to be able to publish further language guides in the future, though the most difficult aspect of this is not actually writing the book, but finding someone who will publish it for you! Oh well fingers crossed.

The story Behind My Site

Why a site like this? Well many reasons I think but first and foremost I wanted to create a site that would actually help the n00b Linux users to get to grips with the basics of the Linux operating system. There is a vast world of information out there on the web about Linux, and sometimes it can be hard for anyone new to Linux to find the right information. And more importantly information that is written in a language they can understand! No tech jargon etc. This is what I aim to do over the next few months and I would be happy for any feedback whatsoever.

I would just like to thank the other people who have helped me with this site, ok guy's come out come out wherever your hiding, I'll give you until ten ok  1..2...3........ No really it's all down to me myself and I, but thanks a lot freeservers couldn't have done it without your hosting.
